Our Puppies
We have three or four litters a year. Each litter is carefully planned to ensure the good health and sound temperament of the puppies. Their parents have clearances for hips, elbows, eyes, and heart. Copies of these are given to new puppy owners, along with puppy's pedigree, instructions for feeding, general care, and training. Puppy's Canadian Kennel Club Certificate of Registration follows in the mail once it has been processed by the C.K.C.
We make every effort to introduce the pups gently to new experiences so that they adjust to their new homes with ease. Puppies are born in our house. Once they are old enough, weather permitting, they go outside to play, and to help with the gardening. By the time they leave for their new homes, they are skilled at digging, pruning, and fertilizing.
Prior to leaving us, puppies are checked thoroughly by our vet. They have their first shots, are microchipped and, of course, dewormed.
Our interest does not end with the departure of the puppy. We are always available to give advice if needed.
